iShares Barclays Intermediate Credit Bond Fund (the Fund), formerly iShares Lehman Intermediate Credit Bond Fund, seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the United States investment-grade credit sector of the bond market as defined by the Barclays Capital U.S. Intermediate Credit Bond Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of investment-grade corporate debt and sovereign, supranational, local authority and non-United States agency bonds that are dollar-denominated, and have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to 1 year and less than 10 years. The Index includes investment-grade credit securities that have $250 million or more of outstanding face value. The Fund invests in a representative sample of the securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index.
