Grupo Nacional de Chocolates SA is a Colombia-based holding company that, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, is primarily engaged in the food processing sector. Its activities are structured in six business areas: Delicatessen, specializing in the production of gourmet pork, beef and poultry products, as well as frozen meals; Cookies, including sweet and cocktail cookies, cereal bars and peanuts snacks; Chocolates, comprising chocolates bars and powdered chocolate for drinks; Coffee, producing a range of coffees under the Sello Rojo and Colcafe brands; Ice Cream, distributing such products as water- and milk-based ice cream bowls, popsicles and cones, and Pastas, which include microwave noodle soups and a variety of spaghetti and lasagna pastas, among others. The Company is a parent of a number of controlled entities with operations established in Mexico, Puerto Rico, the United States, Guatemala, Ecuador, Venezuela, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Panama, Nicaragua and Peru.
