(Collectors Universe) provides authentication and grading services to dealers and collectors of high-value coins, trading cards, event tickets, autographs, memorabilia and stamps (collectibles). Some of the Company’s brands include Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), an independent coin authentication and grading service; Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), an independent sports and trading cards authentication and grading service; PSA/DNA Authentication Services (PSA/DNA), an independent authentication and grading service for vintage autographs and memorabilia, Professional Stamp Experts (PSE), an independent stamp authentication and grading service. Effective March 2, 2009, the Company disposed of its diamond and colored gemstone (jewelry) authentication and grading businesses, and Gemprint asset. On February 4, 2009, the Company disposed of its currency grading and authentication business.
