Broedrene Hartmann A/S is a Denmark-based manufacturer of molded-fiber packaging mainly for eggs. It reports two segments: Europe and North America. The Europe segment comprises production and sale of moulded-fibre packaging in Europe, including Israel. The segment also comprises the sale of machinery for production of moulded-fibre packaging and the combined heat and power plant in Toender, Denmark. The North America Segment comprises the production and sale activities in the North America. The Company sells its products to egg producers, egg packaging business and retail chains, and buyers of industrial packaging. The Company has sales offices in 12 countries. As of December 31, 2011, it had 16 wholly owned subsidiaries, such as Hartmann (UK) Ltd., Hartmann France S.a.r.l., Hartmann Verpackung AG, Hartmann-Schwedt GmbH and Hartmann-Hungary Kft., among others. As of December 31, 2011, the Company�s largest shareholder was Thornico A/S (33.4%).
