Silkeborg IF Invest A/S, formerly Silkeborg Idraetsforening Fodbold Support A/S (SIF), is a Denmark-based company which focuses on operation of a professional soccer/football club. The soccer club, Silkeborg IF, is a full-time professional Danish club with 20 to 25 contracted players. The club competes in the Danish league, as well as in European cup tournaments. The Company owns the home ground, Silkeborg Stadion. The Company is also engaged in investment in real estate. It owns a property named Papirfabrikken, which consists of buildings that are leased to different businesses. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated through three wholly owned subsidiaries, namely K/S Papirfabrikken, Komplementarselskabet Papirfabrikken ApS, as well as Investeringsselskabet af 21. december 2001 A/S, which invested in sales rights associated with professional athletes in Denmark and abroad. As of December 31, 2011, its largest shareholder was Silkeborg Fodbold Holding A/S (27.37%).
