The Company’s primary market includes North Carolina Counties of Gaston, Rowan, Iredell, Union, Mecklenburg, Cabarrus, Lincoln, and Cleveland, and the South Carolina County of York. The Bank's principal business activity is offering Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation-insured deposits to local customers through its 15 branch offices and investing those deposits, together with funds generated from operations and borrowings, in residential and non-residential real estate loans, construction loans, commercial business loans, consumer loans, investment securities and mortgage-backed securities.
