iShares Barclays 1-3 Year Credit Bond Fund (the Fund), formerly iShares Lehman 1-3 Year Credit Bond Fund, seeks investment results that correspond to the price and yield performance of the United States investment-grade credit sector of the bond market as defined by the Barclays Capital U.S. 1-3 Year Credit Bond Index (the Index) (formerly, Lehman Brothers 1-3 Year U.S. Credit Index). The Index measures the performance of investment-grade corporate debt and sovereign, supranational, local authority and non-United States agency bonds that are United States dollar denominated. The Index includes investment-grade United States credit securities that have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to 1 year and less than 3 years, and have more than $250 million or more of outstanding face value. It invests in a representative sample of the securities included in the Index that has an investment profile similar to the Index. Its investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
