Citrix Systems, Inc. designs, develops and market technology solutions that allow applications to be delivered, supported, and shared on-demand with high performance, enhanced security, and improved total cost of ownership (TCO). The Company markets and licenses its products through multiple channels, such as value-added resellers (VARs), channel distributors, system integrators (Sis), independent software vendors (ISVs), its Websites and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The Company designs, develops, markets, sells and supports multiple products in an IT market category called Application Delivery Infrastructure. Its product family brand for all its infrastructure solutions is the Citrix Delivery Center. In October 2008, it acquired all of the issued and outstanding securities of Vapps, Inc. (Vapps).
