Blackbird Energy Inc. (Blackbird) is engaged in the acquisition, development and production of petroleum and gas interests. Blackbird's Bigstone Project is consists of lands and licenses covering a total of 5,120 acres (net 1,120 acres) at Bigstone, Alberta. Blackbird earned 25% of Donnybrook Energy Inc.�s interest in the Bigstone lands, by completing the terms of a farm in agreement with Donnybrook Energy Inc. In June 2012, petroleum and gas production commenced from Well 14-29. Blackbird Energy Holdings LLC is the Company�s wholly owned subsidiary. In December 2012, Blackbird announced that it had closed the acquisition of Ruger Energy Inc. (Ruger), a junior oil and gas exploration and development company. In January 2013, the Company's subsidiary, Ruger Energy Inc. acquired oil and gas assets from Twin Butte Energy Inc.
