B2Gold Corporation is a mineral exploration company focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of interests in precious metals properties worldwide. The Company’s interests in mineral properties include the Gramalote, Mocoa and Quebradona properties in Colombia and the East and West Kupol Licenses in Russia. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company completed a 30,189 m diamond drilling program on the Gramalote property. In addition to the resource drilling at Gramalote the Company completed a total of 8,020 m drilling on other properties including Trinidad (7,019 m) and Cristales (1,001 m). During 2008, it completed drill program at Quebradona Property by testing five gold porphyry targets and drilling a total of 43 holes including 25 at La Aurora, four at Isabella, six at La Sola, three at Tenedor and five at Chaquiro. At Kupol West, drilling was conducted in two stages.
