Canada Zinc Metals Corp. (Canada Zinc), formerly Mantle Resources Inc., is a Canada-based company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in Canada. It has mining interests in properties located in British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. As of June 30, 2009, Canada Zinc had two 100% owned projects: Akie property and Kechika Regional. The Akie claim block covers 6,400 hectares and hosts the Cardiac Creek deposit. Its Afridi Lake Property is located southeast of Lac de Gras, approximately 40 kilometers east of the Diavik Diamond Mine, approximately 335 kilometers northeast of Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
