Focus Ventures Ltd. is an exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of mineral properties located primarily in Peru and Mexico. The Minas Chanca Project is silver mine located in the central Peru mineral belt, 20 kilometers northwest of the Uchucchacua Mine owned by Compania de Minas Buenaventura. The Machay Phosphate Project lies near the towns of Tarma and La Oroya in central Peru, approximately 200 kilometers east of Lima. The Santa Rosa property consists of 551 hectares and is located in central Peru. The Nueva California property consists of 900 hectares and is located in north-central Peru. The Chucara gold-silver project consists of 700 hectares and is located in north-central Peru. On September 21, 2011, it incorporated a subsidiary, Minera Oro Pacific, S.A. de C.V. In July 2012, the Company acquired the Aurora porphyry copper-molybdenum property located in the Department of Cusco, Peru.
