Geomega Resources Inc. is an exploration company. The Company is engaged in acquiring, exploring, developing and, as the case may be, operating mining properties. The Company holds interests in three mining properties in Quebec, including the Montviel (75%), Pump Lake (75%) and Sydney (100%), and focuses on rare earth elements, niobium and tantalum. Effective May 6, 2010, the Company has acquired 36 mining claims adjacent to the Montviel property, and 35 mining claims adjacent to the Pump Lake property. The Montviel property comprises 68 map-designated cells in one block, for a total of 3,777.52 hectares. Pursuant to the acquisition, an additional 36 cells totaling 1,998.1 hectares have been designated. The Pump Lake property is made up of 414 map-designated cells totaling 23,869 hectares or 238.7 square kilometers, in a single block. The Sydney property comprises 188 map-designated cells and 12 titles pending, totaling 11,641 hectares or 116.41 square kilometers, in a single block.
