Kiska Metals Corporation, formerly Geoinformatics Exploration Inc., is a mineral exploration company. The Company is focused on the Whistler Gold-Copper Project in Alaska, as well as other discoveries in British Columbia and Mexico. In addition, Geoinformatics has a commanding portfolio of exploration royalties and equity interests worldwide. The Whistler Project includes the Whistler Zone with 4.44 million ounces of gold equivalent in Inferred Resource and 1.31 million ounces of gold equivalent in Indicated Resource. In addition, 50 other regional targets are located in and around the Whistler Zone making this potentially one of the great mineral provinces on North America. Rimfire Minerals Corporation and Geoinformatics completed business combination by way of plan of arrangement. Effective August 5, 2009, the two companies have combined to form a new entity, Kiska Metals Corporation.
