Hyperion Exploration Corp. (Hyperion) is an oil and gas company. Hyperion is engaged in the exploration, acquisition, development and production of oil and natural gas reserves, in the province of Alberta. The Company owns interests in oil and gas assets in 10 distinct areas. Its Garrington properties are located in west central Alberta. As of December 31, 2011, the Garrington properties were producing approximately 460 barrels of oil equivalent per day. Its Pembina properties are located in west central Alberta. The Niton properties are located in west central Alberta in townships. The Paradise, British Columbia properties are located in northeast British Columbia. On March 7, 2011, the Company acquired the certain assets located in the Buck Lake region of west central Alberta from a public oil and gas company. On March 23, 2011, the Company acquired certain working interest, operated assets located in the Garrington area of west central Alberta from a public oil and gas company.
