Reunion Gold Corporation is a mineral exploration company focused on acquiring and exploring mineral projects in the Guiana Shield region of South America. The Company is conducting activities on the Matthews Ridge Manganese Project in Guyana and on the Lely Gold Project in Suriname. The Company, through Reunion Manganese Inc. (RMI), its wholly owned indirect subsidiary, holds four Prospecting Licenses (PLs) and two Permissions for Geological and Geophysical Survey (PGGS) giving RMI the exclusive right to explore for manganese in the North West District of Guyana. The Company also has an option to acquire from Grasshopper Aluminum Company N.V. (Grassalco) a 100% interest in the Lely Gold Project. The Lely Gold Project consists of four rights of exploration covering approximately 950 square kilometers. Three of these rights of exploration were renewed, on March 4, 2011. The Lely Gold Project is located within the greenstone belt of eastern Suriname in South America.
