Run of River Power Inc. develops sustainable energy through its portfolio of run-of-river and biomass projects in British Columbia. The Company’s hydroelectric project operation is 7.6 megawatts facility based on Brandywine Creek near Whistler, BC. The Company’s 639 megawatts of run-of-river hydroelectric and 90 megawatts of biomass power projects are in various stages of development. The Company has another 437 megawatts of run-of-river projects in the very early stages of development. These projects have attributes similar to those in the Upper Pitt and the Mamquam. The Company’s subsidiaries include Rockford Energy Corporation, Jascott Holdings Corp., Northwest Cascade Power Ltd., Crawford Energy Corp., Raffuse Energy Corporation, Skookum Energy Corp. and Western Biomass Power Corp. On February 1, 2008, the Company completed the acquisition of Western Biomass Power Corp. (Western Biomass). In September 2008, the Company acquired 80% interest in Pacific Northwest Biomass Corp.
