Alder Resources Ltd. (Alder) is a Canada-based, development-stage company. Alder's principal business activities include the acquisition and exploration of gold properties domiciled in North and South America. On April 28, 2010, Alder entered into a purchase and sale agreement with Omega Energy International S.A., C.I. Exminco CA and Panacol Energy Investments Inc., under which it was granted the option to acquire an 80% interest in claims covering an area of approximately 1,000 hectares located in the San Vicente y Barbosa municipalities in the Department of Antioquia, Colombia. The La Montanita Gold Project is situated in western Colombia approximately 220 kilometers from the Pacific Coast. On June 11, 2009, it entered into an option agreement with Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd. to acquire an option to earn a 60% interests in the Canadian Creek mineral property located in the Whitehorse Mining District of the Yukon Territory.
