East West Resource Corporation is an exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition and exploration of resource properties. The Company’s project portfolio includes seagull property, Eva Kitto property, Norton property, Marshall Lake property and Shebandowan properties. The Seagull property consists of 30 claims (359 claim units) with an area of 55.9 square kilometers. The Eva Kitto property consists of 16 claims (213 claim units) with an area of 33.2 kilometers. On December 15, 2008, an eight hole, 3,903 meter drill program was completed on the Seagull ultramafic intrusion. The Norton property consists of 15 claims (233 claim units) with an area of 36.65 square kilometers. On July 31, 2009, the Company announced that it had entered into a letter of intent with Rainy Mountain Capital Corp. (Rainy Mountain), pursuant to which Rainy Mountain is focused on acquisition 100% of the interest in East West.
