Golden Valley Mines Limited (Golden Valley Mines) is a Canada-based mining exploration company. Golden Valley Mines’ primary objective is to conduct basic exploration, including initial diamond drilling, while the Company owns 100% of its properties. The Company’s assets include 143 exploration properties located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt (101 projects are located between Timmins, Matachewan and Kirkland Lake, Ontario and Rouyn-Noranda, Cadillac, Malartic, Val-d'Or and Chibougamau, Quebec); the James Bay, Mistassini and Otish regions of northern Québec; the Nunavik (Ungava and Labrador) region of northern Quebec; the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan, and the James Bay Lowlands of Ontario. The 103 Abitibi Greenstone Belt (AGB) properties are comprised of gold (60) and/or base metals (33), and molybdenum (10) prospects located in Quebec (80) and Ontario (23). In July 2009, Golden Valley Mines announced that it has formed a subsidiary company, Calone Mining Company (S.L.) Ltd.
