Stans Energy Corp. (Stans) is a development-stage company. The Company is engaged in the business of the acquisition and development of mineral deposits, such as uranium, molybdenum, vanadium, beryllium, lithium and rare earth metals in the Kyrgyz Republic. As of December 31, 2011, its licenses to the exploration rights in the Kyrgyz Republic included Kyzyluraan and Aktyuz. As of December 31, 2011, its mining licenses in the Kyrgyz Republic included Kutessay II and Kalesay. The Aktyuz Ore Field is consisted of five rare earth mineralized zones, consisting of Kutessay I, Kutessay II, Kutessay III, Aktyuz, and Kuperlisai. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had no revenue. During the year ended December 31, 2011, Stans returned the Alabugin and Koshdube properties to the Kyrgyz State Geological Agency (State GA). On May 26, 2011, the Company acquired Kyrgyz Chemical Metallurgical Plant (KCMP).
