La Quinta Resources Corporation (LAQ) is a junior exploration company. The Company is engaged in the business of exploring for precious metals. The Company is exploring properties in Nevada. On February 5, 2010, the Company signed a letter of intent with Black Jack Exploration, Inc, an Idaho Corporation (Black Jack), to acquire a 100% interest in the mineral option of the Black Jack Silver property, situated in northern Elko County, Nevada. The Company can earn a 100% option interest in the property. In November 2010 the Company completed 3,500 lineal feet of a planned 22,600 lineal feet of IP geophysics on the property. On April 27, 2011, the Company entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire a 90% interest in the Carruthers Pass, B.C. sulfide project consisting of eight claims with 130 units covering approximately 3,250 hectares from Cariboo Rose Resources Ltd.
