Laurentian Goldfields Ltd. (Laurentian) is a Canada-based, exploration-stage company. The Company is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of economic gold and other precious and base metal properties. The Company�s principal mineral properties include the Van Horne Property and the Thundercloud Property. The Van Horne Property is located eight kilometers southwest of Dryden, Ontario. The Thundercloud Property consists of 135 units in 15 claim blocks, and is located 50 kilometers southeast of Dryden, Ontario. In April 2011, the Company announced the completion of a 2,698 meters diamond drill program to partially test the Pakwash Lake target at the Goldpines North Joint Venture with Kinross. In June 2011, Laurentian commenced a 2,500 meters diamond drill program at the Van Horne Property, focusing on the bulk-tonnage Flambeau gold target.
