Prospero Silver Corp. (Prospero) is in the business of acquiring and exploring mineral resource properties for recoverable resources. As of December 31, 2010, the Company had mineral property interests located in Mexico that were all undergoing preliminary evaluation and exploration. The Company�s properties include the Campana property, the San Luis del Cordero project, the Baborigame Project and the El Dorado-Minitas Project. The Campana property is located in north-central Durango, 70 kilometers west of Torreon, Coahuila. The Company maintains an option to acquire 100% of the San Luis del Cordero property from Exploraciones del Altiplano, SA de CV. The Baborigame district is located 270 kilometers south west of Chihuahua City. As of December 2010, the Company had completed 11 drill holes. On January 9, 2012, Prospero announced the acquisition (through staking) of an additional 9,771 hectares in the Santa Maria del Oro gold/silver district.
