Purepoint Uranium Group Inc. (Purepoint) is engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of properties for the purpose of producing uranium. The Company�s principal assets are mineral properties located in Saskatchewan. Purepoint maintains 13 properties totaling approximately 106,000 hectares (262,000 acres) located in the Athabasca Basin. The Company entered into joint venture agreements and operates three of these projects with Cameco Corporation, AREVA Resources Canada Inc. and Rio Tinto Exploration Canada Inc., while the other 10 projects remain 100% owned. Its Red Willow property consists of nine claims and covers 25,612 hectares on the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin. Its Turnor Lake project includes five claims with a total area of 9,705 hectares situated in the eastern plane of the Athabasca Basin. Purepoint holds a 21% interest in the Hook Lake Joint Venture with partners Cameco Corporation (39.5%) and AREVA Resources Canada Inc. (39.5%).
