Sundance Energy Corporation, formerly Sentinel Rock Oil Inc. (Sentinel), is a junior oil and gas company focusing on exploring First Nation Lands in Western Canada. Its explores for, develops and produces oil and natural gas properties in Western Canada. Its three core assets relate to the Ochapowace, Muskowekwan and Alexander First Nation permits. The Company has a 50% working interest in approximately 17,000 contiguous acres on the Alexander First Nation Land. The Samson Assets consist of an 8.75% to 25% working interest in 11 sections of land (7,040 gross acres) in the Samson area of central Alberta. On April 8, 2011, Sundance Energy Corporation (Old Sundance) and Sentinel completed a business combination (the Transaction). On July 26, 2011, it acquired a 50% interest in an Indian Oil and Gas Canada Permit covering all of the available P+NG rights underlying the Alexander First Nations Reserve, located in Central Alberta. In July 2012, it disposed a non-core asset.
