Atom Energy Inc., formerly Athabasca Uranium Inc., is a uranium exploration and development company. The Company operates in several uranium exploration projects throughout the Athabasca Basin region of northeast Saskatchewan, Canada, totaling an aggregate 68,552 hectares either owned or under option. Its projects include Keefe Lake Project, McCarthy Lake Project, McGregor Lake Project, East Key Lake Project and Fisher River Project. The 32,621-hectare Keefe Lake Project is on the eastern margin of the Athabasca Basin, adjacent to Cameco�s Harrigan Deposit and approximately 22 kilometers southeast of the McArthur River Mine. The 4,082-hectare McCarthy Lake Project lies 40 kilometers northeast of the McArthur River Mine and 29 kilometers southeast of the Cigar Lake Mine on the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin in northern Saskatchewan. The 23,421-hectare McGregor Lake Project is located on the eastern edge of the Athabasca Basin, adjacent to JNR/Denison�s Moore Lake Project.
