Uranium North Resources Corp. is an exploration-stage company engaged in the acquisition and exploration of uranium properties. The properties are located in northern Canada throughout Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and Saskatchewan. It holds a 100% interest in certain claims in Amer Lake, Nunavut, subject to a 2% gross overriding royalty (GOR) in respect of diamonds, a 5% royalty on uranium production and a 2% net smelter returns royalty (NSR) in respect of other metals. In S. Baker, Nunavut, it holds a 100% interest in certain claims subject to a 2% GOR in respect of diamonds, a 5% royalty on uranium production and a 2% NSR in respect of other metals. In Thelon, the Northwest Territories, the Company holds a 100% interest subject to an agreement with Bayswater Uranium Corp., which holds the right to explore for and develop uranium and all other metals (except diamonds) in additional claims subject to a 5% royalty on uranium production and a 2% NSR in respect of other metals.
