Urodynamix Technologies Ltd. is a Canadian medical device company that develops and commercializes non-invasive medical devices based on applications of near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) for the diagnosis of urological diseases and conditions, including urinary incontinence (UI), lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS), prostate cancer and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), erectile dysfunction (ED), and intra-abdominal hypertension (IAH) and abdominal compartment syndrome (ACS). NIRS Urodynamics (URO-NIRS) device is being developed to aid in the non-invasive painless diagnosis of diseases of the bladder during testing of patients with UI and bladder dysfunction. During the year ended December 31, 2007, it filed a patent application for NIRS Intra-abdominal Pressure Monitor (NIRS IAP) to encompass IAP monitoring applications. In October 2007, Urodynamix further expanded its NIRS clinical development program to include a new application that measures blood flow in the prostate gland.
