Claymore/Zacks Mid-Cap Core ETF (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the performance of an index called the Zacks Mid-Cap Core Index (the Index). The Index seeks to select a group of stocks with the potential to outperform indices, such as the Russell Midcap Index or the S&P MidCap 400 Index and other benchmark indices on a risk-adjusted basis. The Index consists of 100 stocks selected, based on investment and other criteria, from a universe of mid-capitalization common stocks, including master limited partnerships (MLPs) and American depositary receipts (ADRs). The mid-capitalization universe ranges from approximately $1 billion in market capitalization to $10 billion in market capitalization as defined by Zacks Investment Research, Inc. (the Index Provider). The Fund will normally invest at least 90% of its total assets in common stock and ADRs that comprise the Index. The Fund’s investment advisor is Claymore Advisors, LLC.
