Capstone Mining Corp. (Capstone) is a Canada-based company engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of mineral properties. The Company carries on its Mexican operations through Capstone Gold, S.A. de C.V. (Capstone Mexico). Capstone carries on its Yukon operations through Minto Explorations Ltd. (MintoEx). The Company owns 100% of MintoEx. It carries on its British Columbia activities through Kutcho Copper Corp. (Kutcho Copper) and owns 100% of Kutcho Copper. As of December 31, 2008, the Company carried out mining operations in Mexico and Canada and was evaluating a development project in British Columbia. On January 1, 2009, Capstone and its wholly owned subsidiary, Capstone Mining North Ltd., were amalgamated as one company under the name Capstone Mining Corp.
