Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. (Red Robin), together with its subsidiaries, is a casual dining restaurant chain focused on serving gourmet burgers. As of December 29, 2013, the Red Robin system included 495 restaurants, of which 361 were Company-owned, and 134 were operated under franchise agreements with 18 franchisees. As of December 29, 2013, there were Red Robin restaurants in 42 states and two Canadian provinces. The Company�s menu features its signature product, the gourmet burger, which it makes from ground beef; and other sandwiches made from chicken breasts, fish filets, turkey patties, as well as vegetarian and vegan burger sandwich options. The Company offers a selection of bun, including ciabatta, brioche, gluten free, sesame, onion and whole grain buns, jalapeno roll and marbled rye with a range of toppings, including fresh guacamole and other items.
