Westinghouse Air Brake Technologies Corporation (Wabtec) is a provider of value-added, technology-based products and services for the freight rail and passenger transit industries. The Company´┐Żs products are used in locomotives, freight cars and passenger transit vehicles, across the United States and other countries around the world. Its products and services are aimed at freight rail and passenger transit vehicles. The Company operates approximately in 19 countries. Wabtec has two segments: the Freight Segment and the Transit Segment. The Freight Segment manufactures, builds, rebuilds, and supplies products and services for the freight cars and locomotives sectors. The Transit Segment manufactures, builds, rebuilds, and supplies products and services for the passenger transit sector. The Company offers remanufacturing, overhaul and build services; specialty products and electronics; brake products, and transit products.
