Description

ITC Holdings Corp. is an electricity transmission company. The Company�s business consists of the electric transmission operations of Regulated Operating Subsidiaries. The Company operates high-voltage systems in Michigan�s Lower Peninsula and portions of Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma that transmit electricity from generating stations to local distribution facilities connected to its systems. The Company�s regulated operating subsidiaries include ITCTransmission, Michigan Electric Transmission Company, ITC Midwest and ITC Great Plains. The Company, through its subsidiaries, owns and operates high-voltage transmission facilities in Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma, with a combined peak load exceeding 26,000 megawatts along 15,000 circuit miles of transmission line.
