Description

SPX Corporation (SPX) is a supplier of engineered solutions. The Company’s products include processing systems and components for the food and beverage industry, pumps, valves and filtration equipment used in oil and gas processing, power transformers used by utility companies, and cooling systems for power generation plants and HVAC applications. The Company operates in two segments: Flow Technology, which engineers, designs, manufactures and markets products and solutions used to process, blend, filter, dry, meter and transport fluids and Thermal Equipment and Services, which provide medium transformers (10 - 100 MVA) in the United States. SPX’s brands include SPX Flow Technology, APV, ClydeUnion, Waukesha Cherry-Burrell, M&J Valves, Copes Vulcan, Farenheat, Qmark and Deltech, among others. It has operations in over 35 countries and sales in over 150 countries around the world. Its medium power transformers range from a base rating of 10 Mega Volt Ampere (MVA) to over 100 MVA.
