Cornerstone has a diversified portfolio of gold, silver, copper, nickel, VMS, potash, and uranium properties in Canada and Ecuador. The Company’s total properties include 11,516 claims in Canada and 28 concessions in Ecuador at the end of December 31, 2008. On February 29, 2008, the Company completed a private placement with Newmont Mining Corporation of Canada Limited (Newmont).
