Novatel Wireless Inc. is a provider of intelligent wireless solutions for the mobile communications market. The Company's range of products include intelligent mobile hotspots, universal serial bus (USB) modems, embedded modules for machine-to-machine (M2M) and mobile computing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), integrated asset-management M2M devices, and communications and applications software. The Company operates in the wireless communications industry through two segments: Mobile Computing Products, and M2M Products and Solutions. The Company's Mobile Computing Products segment supports long term evolution (LTE) platforms and other cellular wireless technology platforms. The Company's tier-one wireless-operator customers include AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Wireless. Its OEM customers include Dell and Hewlett-Packard. The Company delivers Internet of things (IoT) and cloud software as a service (SaaS) services to carriers, distributors, retailers, OEMs and markets.
