Sandfire Resources NL is engaged in the production and sale of copper and gold from the Company�s DeGrussa Copper Mine in Western Australia; completion of development and construction of the DeGrussa Copper Mine, and exploration and evaluation of mineral tenements in Australia and globally. The Doolgunna Project is located 900 kilometer north of Perth and approximately 150 kilometer north of the regional mining centre of Meekatharra in Western Australia. The Borroloola project consists of a total area in excess of 10,000 square kilometers of tenements and tenements under application in the Northern Territory. The Altia project is located 70 kilometers south-east of Cloncury in north-west Queensland. The Bland Creek Project lies 50 kilometers south-east of West Wyalong, New SouthWales in the Lachlan Fold of New SouthWales. In January 2014, the Company announced that National Australia Bank Limited and its associated entities have ceased to be the substantial holder of the Company.
