Description
Nyrstar is a Belgium-based integrated mining and metals business company. The Company is involved in production of zinc and lead, as well as precious metals, such as silver, copper and gold. It has three segments: Smelting, which comprises the smelters; Mining, which involves the mines and the zinc streaming agreement with the Talvivaara mine (Finland), and Other & Eliminations, which contains Galva 45 (France), GM Metal (France) and the eliminations of the intra-group transactions. The Company operates through its numerous subsidiaries based in Belgium, Australia, Barbados, Canada, Chile, France, Germany, Honduras, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru, Spain, Switzerland, Tunisia and the United States.
