(Bancshares) is a financial holding company and wealth management company that provides banking, investment management, financial planning and insurance services to privately owned businesses, professional firms, investors and affluent individuals. The Company has three lines of business: banking, wealth management and insurance. Bancshares and its subsidiaries manage, through its primary subsidiary Encore Bank, National Association (Encore Bank), 12 private client offices in the greater Houston area. It also operates five wealth management offices and five insurance offices in Texas through Encore Trust, a division of Encore Bank, Linscomb & Williams, Inc. (Linscomb & Williams), a subsidiary of Encore Bank, and Town & Country Insurance Agency, Inc. (Town & Country), a subsidiary of Bancshares. In December 2011, it opened a private client office in Houston. In July 2012, Cadence Bancorp, LLC purchased the Company.
