Morgan Stanley Emerging Markets Domestic Debt Fund, Inc. (the Fund) is a non-diversified, closed-end management investment company. The Fund’s primary investment objective is to seek a high level of current income, with a secondary investment objective of long-term capital appreciation. The Fund seeks to achieve its investment objectives by investing, under normal circumstances, at least 80% of its managed assets in emerging markets domestic debt. The Fund’s investment portfolio includes debt instruments, United States treasury security and short term investments. Morgan Stanley Investment Management Inc. serves as the Fund’s investment advisor.
