Spirit Airlines, Inc. (Spirit), formerly Clippert Trucking Company, is an airline company. The Company�s all-Airbus fleet, as of December 31, 2013, operated approximately 250 daily flights to over 50 destinations in the United States, Caribbean and Latin America. Its ultra low-cost carrier (ULCC) business model allows it to compete principally through offering low base fares and charging separately for select optional services, thereby allowing customers the freedom to save by choosing only the extras they value. The ULCC business model provides customers very low base fares with a range of optional services, allowing customers the freedom to choose only the extras they value. The Company operates international service to Aruba, the Bahamas, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru and St. Maarten, as well as Puerto Rico and the United States Virgin Islands.
