EGPI Firecreek, Inc. (EGPI), through its wholly owned subsidiary Firecreek Petroleum, Inc. (Firecreek), is engaged in the building and integrating a line segment of operations facilitating plans for EGPI's oil and gas operations. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company expanded its oil and gas operations in Texas with the acquisition and development of majority interests held in the J.B. Tubb leasehold estate (the Tubb Lease). During 2008, it deployed enhancement and rehabilitation programs on several wells in the Fant Ranch Unit system. It completed two wells, and added a third stripper well for production of oil and gas. On October 30, 2008, Firecreek sold its 50% undivided interest in the Ten Mile Draw natural gas leases in Sweetwater County, Wyoming. In June 2009, EGPI, Asian Ventures Corp. (the Subsidiary), M3 Lighting, Inc. and Strategic Partners Consulting, L.L.C. executed and closed a plan and agreement of triangular merger, whereby M3 merged into the Company.
