Enterra Energy Trust (the Trust) is an exploration and gas trust based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with its United States operations office located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Trust’s assets consist of the securities of the trust subsidiaries and indirect interests in crude oil and natural gas properties through the operating subsidiaries. The direct and indirect wholly owned subsidiaries of the Trust carry on the business of acquiring and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets related thereto. The Trust’s portfolio of oil and gas properties is geographically diversified with producing properties located principally in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Oklahoma. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the average production of 10,283 barrels of oil equivalent (boe) per day included approximately 63% natural gas and 37% crude oil and natural gas liquids (NGL).
