Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund (the Fund) is a closed-end fund. The Fund’s primary investment objective is to provide current income, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Fund invests primarily in a portfolio of mid- and large-capitalization common stocks, seeking to invest primarily in companies with above-average growth and financial strength. The Fund also seeks to generate current earnings in part by employing an options strategy of writing covered call options with respect to a substantial portion of its portfolio securities. Eaton Vance Management (EVM) is the investment advisor of the Fund.
