Ciments Francais SA is a France-based company primarily engaged in the provision of construction materials. It is the international branch of Italcimenti Group. The Company offers three core products: cement, aggregates and ready mix concrete. It has an industrial network of 37 cement plants, six grinding centers, five terminals, 91 aggregates quarries and 333 batching units. The Company operates in 19 countries, including France, Belgium, Spain, Bulgaria, Greece, Morocco, Egypt and Thailand, among others. It operates through a number of subsidiaries, including, Ciments Calcia, Ciments du Maroc, Set Group, Zuari Cement Limited and Halyps, among others. As of December 31, 2012, the Company�s main shareholder was Italcementi Group. As of May 4, 2012, it sold its subsidiary Fuping Cement and has acquired a 35% stake in West China Cement.
