Hoeft & Wessel AG is a Germany-based company engaged in the development, manufacture and distribution of hardware and software solutions for the ticketing and parking sectors. The Company�s products and systems solutions are split into three business divisions: Skeye, Almex and Metric. The Skeye business unit offers products for mobile data recording in the wholesale and retail trade, as well as logistics. These are used for capturing, storing and processing data. The Almex division develops, distributes and services solutions, such as ticket vending machines and printers for rail, road and air transportation. Metric, operated through the United Kingdom-based subsidiaries Metric Group Holdings Ltd. and Metric Group Ltd., manufactures, distributes and services products for parking space management, including on- and off-street parking meters. As of December 31, 2010, Hoeft & Wessel AG owned subsidiaries in Germany, the United Kingdom and the United States.
