Eaton Vance Tax-Managed Global Buy-Write Opportunities Fund (the Fund) is a diversified, closed-end investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to provide current income and gains, with a secondary objective of capital appreciation. The Fund invests in a diversified portfolio of common stocks, including stocks of United States issuers (the U.S. Segment) and stocks of non-United States issuers (the International Segment). The Fund seeks to generate current earnings in part by employing an options strategy of writing index call options with respect to a substantial portion of the value of the Fund's total investments. It invests in sectors, such as information technology, financials, healthcare, consumer discretionary, industrials, energy, telecommunication services, materials and utilities. The Fund’s investment advisor and administrator is Eaton Vance Management. Its sub-advisors are Parametric Portfolio Associates and Rampart Investment Management Company, Inc.
