SkyWest, Inc. (SkyWest) is a holding Company. The Company operates through its subsidiaries, SkyWest Airlines, Inc. and ExpressJet Airlines, Inc. operates the regional airline in the United States. It operates in two segments: SkyWest Airlines and ExpressJet. The Company’s fleet consists of approximately 757 aircraft, of which 449 were assigned to United, 254 were assigned to Delta, 23 were assigned to American, 15 were assigned to United States Airways, seven were assigned to Alaska, two were subleased to unaffiliated entities and seven were unassigned. The Company operates two types of regional jet aircraft: the Bombardier Aerospace regional jet, which comes in three different configurations and the Embraer S.A. regional jet, which it operate in two different configurations. The Company also operates the 30-seat Embraer Brasilia EMB-120 turboprop.
