EnerNOC, Inc. (EnerNOC) is a provider of energy intelligence software (EIS) and related solutions. The Company provides these solutions for commercial, institutional and industrial end-users of energy (C&I) or enterprise customers, and its electric power grid operator and utility customers by delivering a suite of management solutions. The Company provides its utility and grid operator customers with two response solutions: EnerNOC Demand Resource and EnerNOC Demand Manager (EnerNOC DemandSMART). The Company’s technology consists of three primary components: energy intelligence software platform, the NOC and the EnerNOC Site Server. The Company’s energy intelligence software platform is consists of cloud-based enterprise software platform which provides its DemandSMART, EfficiencySMART and SupplySMART applications. The Company designs and installs a small device, called an EnerNOC Site Server (ESS) at each C&I customer site to collect and communicate to its platform.
